Green side of life

Due to its natural values, Kopaonik was declared a national park in 1981. Kopaonik covers the area of 11,810 hectares and, owing to its number of endemic species, it is one the most significant centres of endemic flora biodiversity in Serbia.

The mountain Kopaonik is the largest ski centre in Serbia. Because of its almost 200 sunny days per year, Kopaonik rightfully bears the name of “the mountain of the sun”, so that, throughout the year, it offers ideal conditions for an active vacation. Snow begins to fall in late November and does not go away until May, or in other words, there are 159 snowy days per year on average.

Enjoy the time spent in nature.
